Peter Dijkema is CoQL’s Principal Consultant for Leadership and Executive Development, bringing over 25 years of experience guiding leaders and organisations to build cultures grounded in quality, accountability, and purpose.
An international executive coach and leadership development practitioner, Peter works at the intersection of human behaviour and organisational performance. Having lived and worked across Europe, Australia, and New Zealand, he brings a deep appreciation for cultural diversity and the ways it shapes leadership, communication, and teamwork. His international experience spans The Netherlands, France, Spain, and Australia, giving him a unique lens on how values and context influence organisational effectiveness.
An ICF-accredited coach (ACC) and certified HBDI, REACH, Being Profile, and Thrive practitioner, Peter blends evidence-based frameworks with ontological and behavioural insight. His approach helps leaders develop self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and the capacity to lead through uncertainty and change.
Peter has partnered with organisations including IBM, Microsoft, Telstra, GMHBA, Exxon, ABN AMRO, NEC, Optus, Scope Australia, Meals on Wheels, and the Department of Education, helping them embed leadership behaviours that drive clarity, trust, and collaboration across all levels of their business.
